Placing your first order on Trashless is just like any other ecommerce website. Simply add items to your cart and Check Out when ready.

For all your subsequent orders, simply add the item to your delivery after logging in to your account - you do not need to check out every time - saving you time and frustration.

Each container you receive has a QR code you can Scan that takes you directly to the product page. Simply Tap Order and you’re Done.

There is no deposit for the reusable containers your delivery comes in.

Different brands and their products can have different ‘cut-off times’ based on the production times involved in preparing them. You can add/remove items from your delivery till the cut off times for each of those products have passed.

Delivery dates for each product are pre-set to the next available delivery day in your zip code. Once you have added an item to a delivery date, other items also default to that day - so your items arrive in the same delivery.

There are 2 ways in which you can get your Trashless order: Delivered to your door, or you can pick it up from our growing list of Pick Up Points. To learn more about how Pick Up Points work and to become one, click here. 

For each delivery day, you can enter/choose a delivery address or a Pick Up Point and change it as you prefer. 

Items you order are packaged in insulated, reusable bags. The items that require to be kept cold are sent with reusable ice packs that you also return with other items.

Yes, you can send us ice packs from any other provider - we will gladly sanitize them and use them, again and again.

Picking up your Trashless order from a Pick Up Point is 100% free to you. No minimums or commitments.

To your home . . . 
Your delivery typically arrives between 12noon and 4pm. You will receive an email when the driver is on the way. Then you will receive an email and a text message when the delivery is 1 stop away. After the delivery has been completed, you will receive another email and text letting you know that.

You can add multiple delivery addresses in your Trashless account, and add delivery notes for each - such as where and how you would like the driver to leave the bags. 

You are welcome to designate a spot where you’d like the driver to leave the bags. You can mention details like that to the delivery notes associated with your address.

To Pick Up Points . . . 
Trashless Pick Up Points are a combination of retail businesses and Trashless customers’ homes. They are compensated by Trashless for offering their services. 

You will get a text message and an email when your order is ready for pickup (in the 12 noon to 4pm time frame), along with instructions specific to the Pick Up Point.

After your first delivery, please lightly rinse and put the empty containers and ice packs of the used up items back into the bag into which the original delivery came in. You can keep the containers till past the time of the expiration of the item in them before needing to return them.

Place this bag at your front door at the spot where you’d like the new delivery to be placed. You Trashless Milkperson for Everything will drop off the new items and pick up the previous bags.

All reusable materials used in the Trashless ecosystem are made of best in class materials. Most containers are made of glass, and are manufactured in the United States. Some items such as meal-kits are delivered in reusable BPA-free food grade tupperware style containers. The insulated delivery bags are made from high quality materials that are built for multiple uses.

Inner Chef Meal Kit customers enjoy a composting service built into the service. As you are preparing your meal, and beyond, you can use the ingredients bins as receptacles for food compostables. Simply return them with the rest of your empty containers. We send compostables to partner farms where they are composted - creating another circularity that helps prevent food scraps from ending up in landfill.
