Trashless Inc., (formerly known as Lettuce Networks, Inc.) has shut down its zero-waste grocery delivery operations in March/April 2023 due to financial unviability, and the company is being dissolved.

A gratitude filled thanks to our customers, vendors, employees, partners, investors and extended global community of supporters who supported our efforts to make the world a better place.

Bringing to life the difficult dream of creating a thriving comprehensive zero-waste grocery delivery service became increasingly impossible in the harsh economic reality of the last 1-2 years. Rising costs across the board; an extremely competitive marketplace dominated by wasteful, yet deep-pocketed players in the grocery industry; sudden costly infrastructural breakdowns; and a mainstream consumer market that is understandably unable or unwilling to take personal initiatives to solve the climate crisis . . . all meant we just couldn’t turn profitable before running out of money. This was made worse by an adverse fundraising environment for companies not hitting it out of the park.

Remaining used physical assets, inventory, content, online accounts, listings, brand names and code are being donated to local nonprofits, refilleries, food pantries and entrepreneurial teams willing to do something with them, rather than being thrown away or abandoned.

Thank you again for your support and belief in our mission.
